The number is a concord, MA number. His name is Tom Carr. He called me back from 978.998.0919. This pudgy little wanker refuses to get a real job and sells everything from coffee to vitamins for your car. Just do a google search for 978.998.0919 and it'll all come up. Below is information on the FCC's do not call list. Cell phone's are able to be put on the do not call list too. How to Complain Filing a Do-Not-Call Complaint In addition to complaints alleging violations of the national do-not-call list, you may also file a complaint against a telemarketer who is calling for a commercial purpose (e.g., not charitable organizations) IF: * The telemarketer calls before 8 AM or after 9 PM; OR * The telemarketer leaves a message, but fails to leave a phone number that you can call to sign up for their company specific do-not-call list; OR * You receive a telemarketing call from a company that you have previously requested not call you; OR * The telemarketing firm fails to identify itself; OR * You receive a pre-recorded commercial message from someone with whom you do not have an established business relationship and to whom you have not given permission to call you. How to File a Complaint You can file a complaint by telephone to 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY, by fax to 1-866-418-0232, via our electronic complaint form (http://www.fcc.gov/complaints), or mail. For the FCC to process your complaint you must either fill in the electronic form completely or otherwise indicate: * your name and address; * the home phone number where you received the solicitation; * identification of the individual or company whose products or services were being advertised or sold, and any phone numbers included in the call; * a description of the call; * any phone number provided to allow you to “opt-out” of future calls; * whether you or anyone else in your household gave the caller express prior permission to call; * whether you have an EBR with the caller (specifically, whether you or anyone else in your household made any purchases of property, goods, or services from the company that called, or made any inquiry or filed an application with the company prior to receiving the call). Some facts about cell phones, the proposed cell directory, and do not call list: Here Are the Facts: * At present, a wireless 411 directory is only in the idea stage. * Even if a wireless 411 directory is established, most telemarketing calls to wireless phones would still be illegal. For example, it is unlawful for any person to make any call (other than a call made for emergency purposes or made with express prior consent) using any automatic telephone dialing system or any artificial or prerecorded voice message to any telephone number assigned to a paging service, mobile telephone service or any service for which the called party is charged for the call. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the number is listed on the national Do-Not-Call list.

I've told these people to stop calling, but they still keep at it; three to four times each night, Pretty annoying overall, they keep asking for a person that does not reside an never has done so in my house in my house and having had the same number for over a dozen years; it's just a scam to try to get me hooked into their product.

Caller called for an individual not a household member. When informed they became rude and told the recipient to "shut up". Informed to remove the number from the list. Company called the next day and with permission was the call was recorded as they were informed to remove the number, further contact wopuld be considered harassment.

The recorded message I got when I picked up the phone was telling me it was a very important message about my auto warranty and that they have been trying to reach me for some time and this was my last chance. I do NOT have an auto warranty, so this is obviously bogus. (I hung up on the message at that point.) I filed a complaint at the Do Not Call registry, but I doubt it will help because I don't think the caller ID gives the real number from which the call originates. (I called that number back to complain and got a message saying it was not in service.) I think the telemarketers are spoofing another number. This is annoying because once this company starts calling you, they never quit.

And that they were going to be taking me to court on Monday if I was not ready to resolve the "issue". They were ready to provide me with a case number and everything. LIES, LIES, LIES!!!! Dont let these people fool you and definitely dont send them any money.

I do not know who this caller is but has interrupted me at work twice today alone only to say nothing when I answer. STOP CALLING or at least have the courtesy to say what you're calling about!

Constantly calls. Never leaves a message. Internet researching tells me this is a harassment person and nobody has done anything to make them stop calling people for no reason.

Obviously call center - Indian descent. They definitely do not have a mastery of the English language! They keep referring to a payday loan that I have never had. They refer to themselves as 'officers' and threaten to see me in '2 days on the steps of the courthouse'. I actually find it kinda comical, but scary, since they have my name, address and phone number. Not sure how they got it. I asked for proof of the loan and they insist they have sent it many times to both my home and my email. They obviously havent because there is no proof. When I started to raise my voice and demand they stop calling me, the 'officer' claimed to have a heart conditon and was unable to 'handle me'. Um.. I have an idea..then dont call me!. They are obviously scam artists. Sometimes I enjoy calling them back with a fake name and phone number - just for fun.
